What to expect when you visit our farm
We are excited to have you visit our family farm. We’d like to give you an idea about what to expect when you come. We grow 51 acres of fruit. We take great pride in offering a clean farm which is fully irrigated. We keep grass mulch or straw between the rows of fruit to ensure a comfortable picking experience.
When you arrive at our farm, please stop in our market to see which field sections we are picking in that day. Our staff will give you directions to the fields and give you the necessary picking containers. Once you are prepared to pick, a staff member will assign you to your row for the best picking. We do ask that you stay in your assigned row to ensure plentiful picking for you and the next customer that comes along. Also, supervised children are welcome and encouraged, so they can learn the importance of agriculture in their community.
Please read the signs posted around the farm and do not enter fields with “No Picking” signs or sections that our staff did not direct you to.
We are a working and operating farm, so it is important for all children to have parental supervision. There are dangers like moving vehicles, beehives, ditches, etc.
For food safety, dogs and other pets are not permitted in the picking fields. If you require a service dog, please let our staff know and we can make accommodations. We ask that service dogs wear something visible to indicate to our staff and other customers they are a working animal.
When you come to the farm, dress for the weather. Bring sunscreen, hat, and sensible shoes. Washrooms and hand washing stations are on site. A shaded picnic area is available for taking a relaxing break.
When planning a trip to our farm, you can call ahead for daily picking conditions and ordering your Already Picked fruit in advance. When you call 519-676-2008 you will speak to one of our staff who will provide you with the information needed.
After you have picked all the fruit you need our staff will direct you to the paying area. Accepted forms of payment include cash, cheque, debit and credit.
We look forward to seeing you and your family and hope you enjoy your farm experience!
